Memphis Touchdown Club Presents 2024 AFCA Academic Achievement Award

The Memphis Touchdown Club continued its long tradition of the presenting the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Academic Achievement Award at the recent AFCA Convention in Charlotte. The Award is sponsored by BSN SPORTS. Seven universities were honored: Air Force, Clemson, Liberty, Notre Dame, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wake Forest. All seven schools shared the highest graduation rate for members of their 2017 freshman football student-athlete classes, based on the NCAA’s Graduation Success Rate. The Academic Achievement Award was established in 1981.

The Memphis Touchdown Club congratulates this year’s Academic Achievement Award recipients and thanks BSN SPORTS for its outstanding support!

Troy Calhoun, Air Force Head Coach, received the Academic Achievement Award from Memphis Touchdown Club board members Greg Cotton and Harold Graeter.
